Developing the Leaders of Tomorrow

One of the most pressing issues facing  youth today is to find the strength, discipline and drive to excel academically and socially in their teen years. As the future and fate of the the nation and the world, will soon rest in the hands of today’s youth, it is extremely critical for our young generation to become strong-minded, productive and contributing individuals who can be effective and proactive in determining the course of tomorrow’s world. Our youth need to develop positive leadership knowledge, attitudes, skills and aspirations to become effective and skillful leaders of tomorrow.

Unfortunately, most student don’t have the discipline and focus when it comes to academic life. They are lacking drive and motivation. They don’t know why they need to make learning and growing their mind a priority in life. The major problem is not knowing the “Why” and not having a purpose that keep them on the path of achieving whatever they are doing.  Most of them don’t associate learning and growing to their goals and dreams. Their intention is not aligned with their purpose and with growing.

This misalignment causes confusion and unwillingness and we all know what happens next. By creating a clear image of their desired future and what needs to be done to reach that ideal future, we can help them find a strong reason and become intentional to take the matters in their own hand and become interested in their growth and development.

Youth leaders want to be, do and have more. They want to grow as a person, and as a leader and they want to help and build others along the way. They know how to make good decisions, they are accountable and accept responsibilities, and they want to succeed.
If your teen is dealing with lack of focus or motivation, it is most likely because they haven’t yet bought into their learning. Most youth don’t know why they are learning, how to learn, how to use and retain the information and what learning could mean for their future. Not knowing our purpose and our passion would also lead to inertia and lack of focus. 
The Center For Youth Leadership is providing an environment of growth to help youth people find purpose, build their strength and find meaning in learning.  We help teens to develop beliefs and habits that will result in positive and effective action and results. 
Our courses are designed for young people from 12-19 years old and above.  What we teach are impactful, tried and true tools and technics that deliver results.
